Who We Are


Advances in Hospice is a philanthropic program of the Brandenburg Maas Life Transition Center, established in 2009 as a privately funded and mission-driven organization to support projects, initiatives, and research that address personal transition periods and life altering pathways in the areas of health, loss, careers, and relationships.







Advances In Hospice Magazine

AIH Magazine brings to the forefront the latest research, practice, and opinions for hospice professionals. Each issue is complimented by the Advances In Hospice Speaker Series. Both are created to present specific, contemporary thinking in the care, support, and understanding of the hospice personnel.

The day has finally come.  The inaugural issue of Advances in Hospice is on-line for your enjoyment.  We are so thrilled that international bereavement specialist Dr. Alan Wolfelt has written our feature article on the importance of family members to accompany the body of the deceased to the final resting place.  Hospice personnel are so crucial to helping loved ones understand how this one decision can immensely help the grief process.
